In order to become the number one preferred brand in its industry, we helped FinancialLease.nl to completely renew its brand. From strategy to visual identity, brand voice, brand launch and multi-channel campaign. Resulting in a brand that sets itself apart from competition by connecting with clients through its optimistic company culture.

Can-do mindset

Even though entrepreneurs come in all different shapes and sizes, they have one important thing in common: their can-do mindset. Never taking no for an answer. FinancialLease.nl’s new brand positioning is built around that mindset. Make it happen is an optimistic motto that serves as the common denominator between clients and its getting-it-done company culture. A distinctive quality in the industry, that moves the new brand away from pure function into the emotional domain. Supercharging the new FinancialLease.nl brand with a vibrant energy that empowers clients, as well as its employees. And by doing so, creating a deeper connection with both.

Shifting gears

The design concept of the visual identity is based on the mechanism of a gearbox. An essential part of any vehicle. The shifting of gears is translated into an abstract form language. Metaphorically linking to shifting gears in managing your own business. The logo icon playfully refers to the shifting gears principle. Forming an abstract F at the same time. A vigorous pink leads the way to a color palette of possibilities. With a sophisticated petrol and a gentle cream for contrast. And five vibrant hues that expand the colors' versatility in communication. Steering away from industry standards, towards a new and fresh perspective.

Getting employees on their way

To make sure the new FinancialLease.nl brand is easy to use for all, a design system is created consisting of elaborate, yet simple guidelines. To bring the new brand to life amongst all employees, we created merchandise, a brand launch video and made sure the new design was adopted in office interior.

‘Aan de bak’

We supported our colleagues from Higuita to create a brand awareness campaign for online, out-of-home and radio. Aimed at breaking the sea of sameness in the industry. Letting go of the stocky images of people in shiny suits next to their shiny cars.

The result is an energetic brand that’s hard to overlook. With a positioning that’s cheerfully fueling the team’s ambition to transform the industry its in. And many meetings ending with a loud and positive ‘Aan de bak!’.
